Poems, Personal Stories, and Observations

Wait a Minute

When you want your own way,

Can you stop and just say,

“Wait a minute”?

When it has to be thus

And you cause such a fuss,

Can I ask you to pause, and say

“Wait a minute”?

Do you feel your effect?

Is it logic you reject?

Since you can’t self-adjust —

You think all others must?

Let’s pause now and think,

Come back from the brink,

And say to each other,

“Wait a minute”
