Poems, Personal Stories, and Observations

About

I was born in 1954, female, married to a (not perfect) wonderful husband and have a son and daughter.  I am a follower of Jesus, with a Catholic flavor.  I love Jesus and my family.  The poems I write come about from a need for inner healing but it is my hope that they bring healing to others too.

Clara Katalin are two of the names given me at birth (I have five names on the birth certificate, not including the last name), but Clara was too confusing because my mom was Klara, so everyone started calling me by a different name.

I am honored by your connection. What inspires you to write poetry?

    • Well, “About” kind of says it, but I believe it’s the Holy Spirit. At any rate, it’s a gift from God, re-ignited when I had a healing of my emotions in 2011 (see “Depression” page). I thank God for it, because poetry helps me process a lot of my emotions that perhaps I wouldn’t be able to otherwise. Thanks so much for your comment!
